Klevaro stocks 170+ oil burners and wax warmers, from tealight-powered ceramic burners to electric plug-in warmers. UK shoppers buy here to refresh a room scent without burning a candle, to gift a fragrance starter set, or to upgrade an existing setup with a more decorative piece. The collection ranges from compact bedside warmers to statement living-room pieces, with options for traditional, contemporary and boho interiors. Browse alongside our candles range, home fragrance hub and incense holders for related options.
Tealight burners are the traditional choice: a ceramic, glass or stone shell holds a tealight underneath, and the heat warms a dish of oil or wax above. They are inexpensive, atmospheric and need no plug socket, which makes them ideal for bathrooms, candlelit dinners and homes that prefer a flame-led feel. Electric warmers replace the flame with a heated plate or a small bulb. They run cooler (better fragrance preservation since hot wax can scorch and lose top notes), are safer around children and pets, and can be left running unattended for longer stretches. Plug-in warmers can also be used in bedrooms overnight without the flame risk that comes with candles. Most UK homes end up with one of each, used in different rooms.
Living rooms and bedrooms suit medium ceramic or stone burners (around 12 to 18cm tall) so the fragrance disperses without dominating the room or competing with other decor. Bathrooms benefit from compact electric warmers (no flame, easy to clean, humidity-tolerant) and from glazed ceramics that wipe clean of soap splashes. Kitchens and dining rooms work well with glass or metal designs that wipe clean of cooking grease and that suit a modern hob-area aesthetic. For decor-led shoppers, look at lattice ceramics (light-throwing patterns that double as a soft glow when lit), concrete-style minimalist warmers, hand-painted designs that double as ornaments when not in use, or brass and bronze-finish pieces for a heritage feel. Match the burner to the room style first and the fragrance throw second; the right shape on the wrong shelf rarely works.
After each session, let the dish cool fully before handling. Wax pops out cleanly once solid (gently flex the dish or warm the underside briefly with a hairdryer if it has set hard). For oil residue, wipe with a soft cloth and a small amount of surgical spirit on stubborn spots. Never use abrasive scrubbers; they scratch the glaze on ceramic and dull the surface on glass burners. Replace tealights regularly (every 3 to 4 hours) and use proper unscented tealights (scented ones can clash with the oil or wax scent). Keep electric warmers away from water splashes and unplug them before cleaning. Inspect ceramic burners occasionally for hairline cracks; a cracked dish can leak hot oil and should be retired straight away.
