Do the Lisa Parker light up canvas plaques need mains power?

No. Both the Krampuss and the Jekyll and Hyde light up canvases are battery powered, with the LEDs mounted behind the printed canvas and a switch on the frame. That means you can hang them anywhere without planning around a socket or trailing a cable, which is the main reason they work well on stairwells and chimney breasts.

Are Anne Stokes dragon boxes suitable for storing jewellery?

Yes. The Dragon Friendship Fall and Winter boxes are lidded keepsake boxes sized for rings, chains, crystals and small trinkets. They are cold cast resin with the artwork applied to the lid rather than lined jewellery cases, so add a soft cloth or pouch if you are storing anything that scratches easily.

Why do Amy Brown fairy figurines vary slightly from the photos?

Each figurine is cast in resin and then hand painted, so brush detail on faces, wings and clothing differs a little between individual pieces. Colour depth can also vary between production batches. Collectors generally see this as part of buying a hand finished piece rather than a mass printed one, but it does mean no two are identical.

Are these licensed artist pieces reprinted once they sell out?

Not reliably. Lisa Parker, Anne Stokes and Amy Brown lines are produced in defined runs, and a design that sells through may or may not return in a later season. If you are completing a set or buying a specific piece as a gift, it is safer to order when you see it in stock rather than waiting.

How should I care for bronze terracotta plaques and resin figurines?

Dust with a dry soft brush rather than a damp cloth, since water can sit in the textured recesses of terracotta finishes. Keep pieces out of direct sunlight, because prolonged UV gradually flattens hand painted detail. Outdoor terracotta plant pots should be brought under cover before a hard frost to avoid surface cracking.

Lisa Parker Light Up Canvases and Bronze Terracotta Plaques

Lisa Parker and Anne Stokes fantasy giftware makes up almost all of this section, and the Lisa Parker pieces are the ones collectors ask for first. We hold the Krampuss Light Up LED Canvas Plaque and the Jekyll and Hyde Light Up LED Canvas Plaque, both battery lit so the artwork glows without needing a socket nearby, plus the Bronze Terracotta Tree of Life Plaque and the Moon Gazing Hare Bronze Terracotta Plant Pot. Lisa Parker's work is instantly recognisable for its moon gazing hares, wolves and gothic portraiture, and the bronze terracotta finish gives a weight and texture that printed reproductions never manage.

The light up canvases suit a hallway, a stairwell or a reading corner where a lamp would be awkward, since the LEDs sit behind the print and pick out the highlights rather than lighting the room. Because they run on cells they can hang anywhere. If you are building a wider display, our gothic altar shelves and dreamcatchers range covers the shelving and wall pieces that sit around them.

Anne Stokes Dragon Keepsake Boxes and Burner Sets

Anne Stokes is the other name that drives this range, and her dragon artwork carries the strongest following in UK fantasy giftware. We stock the Dragon Friendship Fall Box and the Dragon Friendship Winter Box, both lidded keepsake boxes with the artwork wrapped across the lid, along with the Dragon Magic Hanging Ornament and the Imbolc Wax Melt Burner Gift Set. The Imbolc set is worth noting because it pairs the artwork with a working burner and melts rather than being purely decorative, which makes it an easier gift for someone who is not already collecting. For the melts themselves see soy wax snap discs and gonk wax melt sets.

Amy Brown Fairy Figurines

Amy Brown's fairies round out the artist lines, and we hold three sizes so a collection can be built rather than bought in one go. The 16cm Dragon Perch Fairy Figurine and the 19cm Book Fairy Figurine are the shelf sized pieces, while the 46cm Caretaker Fairy Figurine is a floor or console standing statement piece. Hand painted resin means small variations between individual castings, which collectors generally treat as a feature rather than a fault. Our wider animal family resin ornaments and gift figurines range holds the non licensed figurine lines.

Collecting and Displaying Licensed Artist Giftware

Licensed artist pieces are produced in defined runs, so a design that sells through is not automatically reprinted. If you are collecting a specific artist it is worth buying the piece you want when you see it rather than waiting for a sale. Keep resin figurines and terracotta plaques out of direct sunlight, since prolonged UV will lift the depth out of hand painted detail over a few years. Hanging pieces sit alongside our hanging ornaments and fabric wall hangings.
