How many sticks are in a Satya bulk pack?

Most Satya packets in these bulk sets are fifteen grams, which usually works out at around twelve to fifteen hand rolled sticks depending on the blend and how thickly it is rolled. A set of twelve packets therefore gives you somewhere between one hundred and forty and one hundred and eighty sticks in total, which is why the per stick cost is much lower than buying single packets.

What is the difference between Nag Champa and Superhit?

Both are Satya masala blends built on the same base. Nag Champa is the original, warmer and more resinous, with sandalwood sitting under the champa flower. Superhit is sweeter and more floral with a lighter finish, and it is generally the one people pick if they find Nag Champa a little heavy. Buying a mixed bulk set is the cheapest way to try both properly.

Are these incense gift sets suitable for resale?

The sets of eighteen and thirty six arrive in printed counter display boxes designed for retail, so yes, they suit market stalls, gift shops and craft fairs. Individual packets carry their own Satya branding and barcodes. If you need larger quantities or a specific blend in volume, contact us before ordering so we can confirm current stock.

Do I need a special holder for incense sticks?

You need something that grips the stick at a slight downward angle and catches the falling ash, which is what a stick holder, boat or ash catcher does. A cone holder with a flat well is not ideal because the ash misses it. Several listings in this range include a holder, and our incense cone and stick holders page covers the rest.

How should I store incense sticks so they keep their scent?

Keep them in the original sealed packet, in a cool dark drawer or a closed box, away from radiators and direct sunlight. Heat and light drive off the essential oils, which is the main reason old sticks smell flat. Stored properly, Satya masala sticks hold their fragrance well for a year or more, and the resinous blends such as Nag Champa age particularly gracefully.

Satya Incense Sticks in Bulk Packs and Gift Sets

This page is built around Satya incense sticks bought in bulk rather than singly. Most listings here are sets of twelve or eighteen packets, sold the way a shop or a heavy home user actually buys them, alongside counter display boxes and boxed incense gift sets. Satya is the best known Indian incense house in the UK and its masala sticks are hand rolled rather than dipped, which is why the fragrance holds through the whole stick. If you need something to burn them in, the novelty incense cone and stick holders range covers trays, boats and ash catchers. Everything on this page is sealed as it left the factory, so you are getting the full fragrance load rather than sticks that have been sitting open on a shop counter for a year.

The Satya Range: Nag Champa, Superhit and Palo Santo

Nag Champa remains the benchmark, a warm resinous blend of champa flower and sandalwood that most people recognise immediately. Superhit is the sweeter, more floral sibling and sells strongly in the Athma, Yoga Ritual and Desi Aroma variants. Palo Santo, Myrrh, Musk and Eucalyptus cover the drier woody and herbal end. Meditation, Positive Vibes and Indian Rain Forest are the blends people reach for during yoga and reiki practice, which is why they pair naturally with our chakra crystal gift sets and the wider spiritual wellbeing range. Blends are a matter of taste rather than quality, and the cheapest way to find yours is a mixed bulk set rather than working through single packets at full price.

Display Boxes, Gift Sets and Retail Packs

The bulk format matters. A set of twelve Satya packets works out considerably cheaper per stick than buying one packet at a time, and each packet typically holds around fifteen grams, which is roughly twelve to fifteen sticks. The larger sets of eighteen and thirty six arrive in a printed counter display, so they suit market traders, gift shops and anyone running a stall. For presents, the wooden gift box sets and the themed packs such as Carrot Cake, Midnight Rituals and Vampire Blood with a coffin holder give you a complete gift without needing to buy a holder separately. The themed sets also solve the awkward gift problem, since a boxed incense set reads as a considered present in a way that a single packet never does.

Burning, Storing and Choosing a Holder

Burn incense sticks in a holder that catches ash, angled slightly downwards, on a heatproof surface away from curtains. One stick scents an average UK living room for around forty minutes and the fragrance lingers for several hours after. Keep unused packets sealed in a cool dark drawer, since heat and daylight fade the essential oils faster than anything else. Ventilate the room afterwards, particularly in a small flat. If smoke is a problem for you, the ceramic oil burners and wax warmers range gives you fragrance with no combustion at all. Keep a separate holder for resinous blends such as Nag Champa if you burn several fragrances, because the residue carries over and muddies a lighter blend like Eucalyptus.
