Hanging Ornaments and Fabric Wall Hangings

Everything on this page hangs, which sounds obvious until you see how differently the pieces behave. Seventeen are hanging ornaments and decorations in the strict sense: glass dome mushroom houses and gnomes, a Christmas wish glass bauble, a set of three gingerbread decorations, a set of three crystal Christmas tree decorations, a haunted holiday house in resin, and Anne Stokes dragon medal and dragon magic ornaments. These are light enough for a tree branch or a door handle. Five fabric wall hangings are a different proposition altogether, including in my witch era bat cat, bats cats and witches hats, a support your local witch coven banner and a chakra wall hanging. Those need a rail or two small hooks and cover a decent area of wall for very little money.

Metal Sentiment Signs and Seasonal Pieces

Thirteen hanging signs make up the third group, and they are the practical gifting end of the range. Grumpa, Glam-ma, little man cave, move the dog, no need to knock and the forty milestone birthday sentiment sign all do the same job: they name a person or a situation, which makes them easy to buy for someone specific. Seasonal designs run through farm fresh pumpkins, autumn skies and pumpkin pies, autumn magic and the joy of Christmas penguin family. Freestanding and shelf mounted versions of the same idea are in our wooden and metal vintage quote signs range, and framed artwork sits in tarot and celestial wall art prints.

Hanging Them Safely

Glass dome decorations and baubles are heavier than they look and should go on a strong inner branch rather than a tip. Fabric wall hangings need two fixings spaced across the top edge, not one in the middle, or the fabric will sag and crease permanently within weeks. Metal hanging signs come with their own cord or chain and suit a door or a hook. Adhesive strips are a reasonable option on smooth painted walls for the lighter fabric pieces, though they will not hold a glass dome. None of the metal signs are powder coated for exterior use, so treat anything going outside as a covered porch item rather than a weatherproof one, and expect a season or two rather than years. Dimensions are given in centimetres on every listing because hanging pieces photograph considerably larger than they arrive.

Themes, Seasons and What Goes With Them

The range leans gothic and folk, with witch, bat, mushroom, moon and dragon motifs running through most of it, alongside a straightforward Christmas group. Standing figures on the same themes are in animal family resin ornaments, festive pieces in Christmas wax melt burners and festive gifts, and the full interiors range in boho home decor and wall plaques.
